braenchild media partners with organisations to provide strategic design for exhibitions that focus on living history, social justice and human rights.

From pop up banner displays to custom-designed travelling exhibits, our designs have travelled to Melbourne, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United States, Cambodia and Switzerland.

We have worked closely with New York-based non-profit, PROOF: Media for Social Justice, for over a decade, collaborating on exhibitions that highlight social justice, human rights and peacebuilding.

We also undertake practice-based research projects, You can learn more on our Design Practice Research site.

America the Borderland

PROOF: Media for Social Justice and University of Dayton’s Human Rights Centre

America the Borderland is a multiplatform storytelling project that shines a light on the changemakers who are having a positive impact in their communities along the border between Mexico and the United States. At a time when immigration is at the forefront of a volatile and polarized national debate, the stories of these changemakers, shared in their own words, provides a nuanced and authentic perspective that is so often missing from mainstream coverage of the issue.

Picturing Moral Courage: The Rescuers

PROOF: Media for Social Justice

The people you will see and read about in "Picturing Moral Courage: The Rescuers" exhibition represent all walks of life. They are farmers, taxi drivers, nuns, mothers, fathers. Why did they, amongst all the other members of their communities, risk everything to save neighbors, friends, and strangers?

This exhibit is designed to raise awareness of the need to stand up against injustices that are still happening in the world around us in order to promote peace. We hope these provocative stories will inspire viewers to think about the courageous choices that can be made every day, and become "rescuers" in their own communities wherever injustice exists.
